2 1/2 Inch Lead Free Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly, Less Shutoff, Single Top Entry, Epoxy Coated Using ArmorTek Technology
This 2 1/2 inch lead free double check valve backflow preventer assembly prevents the backflow of contaminated water into the potable water supply. It consists of an fused epoxy coated cast iron body using ArmorTek(TM) coating technology for advanced corrosion resistance construction that is easy to maintain and service. It is ideal at referenced cross-connections identified as non-health hazard applications. The maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar). The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek technology to resist corrosion due to microbial induced corrosion (MIC) or exposed metal substrate.
